If you have an awesome Windows 10 PC fit for any upgrade to Windows 11, Windows Update will notify you when it’s available. You can also check yourself by selecting Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

Also, I love the overall feel of Windows 11 on Surface and the ultimate Pro 7. I feel like Microsoft had their Surface Pen and sync products in mind when those companies wrote this new version of Windows, not one postscript. One thing I don’t like, and still a long way off, is that the taskbar can no longer be moved to the side.
A free upgrade to Windows 11 support is available based on PC eligibility, reliability metrics, age of your Surface device, and other factors. If you have a Windows 10 PC eligible to upgrade to Windows 11, Windows Update will notify you when it becomes available.
