Hello, I have updated my previously built Surface Pro 6 to Windows 11 using Windows Update and the website is working fine.
Due to limitations, Surface Pro 4 hardware devices can no longer be upgraded to Windows 14. Specifically, Surface devices released after November 2017 may run your new operating system. In other words, Surface devices older than three years, including the Surface Pro 4, will not run Windows 11.
If you have a PC that needs accessories, you can upgrade to Windows 11, but you can’t upgrade through Windows. Instead, you need to embed an ISO image or bootable USB drive to manually perform a clean install or in-place upgrade.
The Surface laptop will appear in the list of Surface devices that are compatible with the installation of Windows 11.
