Insert the original installation DVD or USB Drive.
Restart your computer.
Boot from the disc/USB.
At the Install screen, click Repair your computer or press R.
Click Troubleshoot.
Click Command Prompt.
Type these commands: bootrec /FixMbr bootrec /FixBoot bootrec /ScanOs bootrec /RebuildBcd.
Open an elevated command prompt.
If you are running Windows 10, Windows 8.1 or Windows 8, first run the inbox Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool prior to running the System File Checker.
Insert Windows 8.1 installation media (DVD/USB) and restart the computer.
Swipe F12 key (typically this is F12, but it can differ between computer manufacturers) and choose the drive that you inserted the installation media into.
Once the Windows Setup window appears, follow these steps: Swipe Next and select Repair your computer.
You will then see a blue screen and an option to choose.

Run SFC scannow Windows 10, 8 and 7

First, go to the authority, click on the start button and go to the command line (Admin).
