Assign WORKON_HOME to change the home directory to the full name of the venvs folder.
Currently, run the command source to run the bash-very-virtualenvrapper.sh file:
It’s really easy. Start by setting up a directory at the root of each project directory, and then use the latest virtualenv command line tool to create an awesome new environment: pip, rad done.
Install pip apt-get sudo install python-pip.
Install virtualenv sudo pip virtualenv install.
Create any directory to store your virtual environments (I ~/use.virtualenvs) mkdir ~/.virtualenvs.
Install virtualenvwrapper sudo pip virtualenvwrapper install.
To keep our environment private, we only use virtualenvwrapper. This installation installs virtualenvwrapper in the /usr/local/bin directory.
virtualenvwrapper-win This is a useful port of Doug Hellman’s virtualenvwrapper for Windows batch scripting. The idea behind virtualenvwrapper is to make it easier to use Bickingsian virtualenv, a tool for creating sandboxed Python virtual environments, each supporting its own libraries and site packages.
But I don’t consider pbr a dependency. If you are still unable to install or run the virtualenvwrapper-win scripts, download and install pbr separately. Thanks for your input on Stack Overflow’s answer!
