Windows 11 Windows 10 Select, launch, then select Settings > Personalization > Themes. Enable/disable app and start menu features, to open settings, press Windows Factor + I hotkey.
Click “Personalization” in the “Settings” menu on the left.
You can then enable or disable the “Show Recent Items” option in the Start Menu, Jump Lists, and File to be able to turn off recommended files.
