Boot the system from the installation media of the current version of Windows.
On the Install Windows > Next screen, select Repair your computer.
On the options screen, select Troubleshoot.
On the Advanced Options screen, select Startup Repair.
Restart your computer. Press F8 before the real Windows 7 logo appears. From the Start menu, Advanced Options, select Repair your computer. Press Enter.
Paste the Windows 7 installation and boot your computer from there.
Press the appropriate key when you see the message “Press a few keys to boot from DVD with attached certificate”.
Select Repair your computer > Detect operating system from the list when Startup Repair has finished scanning your corporate PC.
Select “Command Prompt” in the “System Recovery Options” window.
Another way to boot the system is to re-enter it by entering safe mode using the command prompt: first restart your computer. Press F8 during part of the boot process until you see the typical advanced Windows boot options.
Once you get a command prompt window, type cd restores and hold down the enter key.
Now sort rstrui.exe and press Enter. Then run the System Restore Wizard and go through all the wizards to complete the recovery methods.
