Click Open, Run, type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER and click OK. Even if you do it all right, it may look like nothing is happening.
Click Start, Run, type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER and click OK.

Error “Installation Wizard completed prematurely” updated

The reason for the particular error and premature termination of the Cumulative Update Installer may be that the server has enabled User Access Control (UAC) on the device. Hit Enter and I would say there should be a voice message on the next line saying the write was successful. Now you can run the installer a second time and it will install correctly.
Error “Installation Wizard completed prematurely” updated
To install this program later at a specific time, run the mount again. The cause of each error, and the reason why the Update Rollup Installer “quits prematurely”, is because User Access Control (UAC) is enabled on the server itself. Disabling UAC is definitely recommended for good reason.

Some workarounds include writing downloaded .bat files and/or .exe files to a cumulative .msi file and running those files as an administrator.
