Solution If the camera is not recognized correctly in a Windows 7 environment and the cause is unknown, follow the procedures below to delete the camera’s device driver, and then reinstall it. IMPORTANT Use a USB cable to connect the camera and the computer. Depending on the camera model, a USB cable may not be included with the camera.
Select Start , type device manager, then select it from the search results.
Find your camera under Cameras, Imaging devices , or Sound, video and game controllers.
